Lynton Barber
Founder & Managing Director Licensed Auctioneer & Valuer
A career in Advertising Agencies led Lynton to jumping the fence and managing advertising and marketing projects for Westpac. In 1992 Lynton moved his young family to the west coast and started Sterling Fine Arts Auctioneers. The wine auction arm dominated the business so Sterling became specialist wine auctioneers with a taste for technology and global markets. The first Sterling web site in 1995 was a pioneer, that over successive years introduced numerous innovations carefully timed to meet consumer tech readiness. Sterling has established a significant network in Asia and will use the shared time line to ensure future growth is focused on the East. |
