Deep crimson. Intense blackcurrant, mulberry, dark plum, mocha, hint bush garrigue, sage aromas with liquorice notes. Well-concentrated inky blackcurrant, dark plum, minty flavours, fine loose-knit grainy/al dente tannins, underlying mocha, vanilla oak and fresh mineral/saline acidity. Finishes cedar firm. "Some softly fading florals and leaf litterfall, a scattering of dark berries and some freshly turned earth. A firm, minerally spine keeping the wine taut and disciplined."
