A beauty, the 2005 Grenache Old Vine exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a sweet perfume of black and red fruits, melted licorice, subtle dried Provencal herbs, a touch of pepper, a superb attack, an opulent mouthfeel, and a long, layered finish. This brilliant Grenache should drink well for 5-6 years.
