Drink 2012–2018
The 2008 Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon gives a deep garnet-purple color and aromas of ripe cassis, black currant cordial, dark chocolate, black truffles and black olives. Full bodied with a good amount of muscular fruit, it has a firm level of chewy tannins, very crisp acidity and a long, ripe cassis laced finish. Drink it now to 2018+.

Medium-deep crimson. Cassis, redcurrant, oyster graphite aromas with some tomato leaf notes. Plentiful blackcurrant, redcurrant fruits, fine loose-knit chocolaty tannins, ample mid-palate richness, underlying vanilla, hint toasty notes. Grainy firm at the finish inky graphite/mineral length. "Abundantly warm refreshingly delightful. Delicate herbal nuances youthful vitality while opulent, robust berry fruits the richness. It's pulsating with vigour and the tannins, polished to a sandpaper texture, are poised to unleash their horsepower."
