Penfolds Rewards of Patience ★★★☆☆
Penfolds — The Rewards of Patience, Ninth Edition
Drink: Drink now 2050
Deep crimson. Fresh and intense lifted blackberry, mocha, chinotto, touch bush garrigue aromas. Generous blackberry, mocha, liquorice flavours, firm chocolaty/touch leafy tannins, lovely mid-palate richness and well-integrated acidity. Builds firm and tight at the finish with seductive sweet fruit notes. "An open-knit Grange built more on its structural elements than the density of its fruit." (NR) Drinking well and should continue to develop for a while. 14.5% alc 98% Shiraz, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Magill Estate (Adelaide)
