Medium-deep crimson. Classical St Henri with blackcurrant pastille, blackberry confit, praline aromas with roasted walnut/braised fennel, hint polished leather notes. Fresh supple cassis, dark chocolate, roasted walnut/hazelnut flavours, granular/al dente textures and fresh long mineral acidity. "Very well balanced but seemingly perfectly formed wine with a long run up ahead before it peaks." (NB) Has developed exceptionally well and should last a while. 14% alc "Fragranced and evocative with rose petals, graphite, pencil shavings, hazelnuts, raspberries and cherries.
