Medium-deep crimson. Intense complex panforte, blackberry, strawberry liquorice aromas. Well- concentrated blackberry pastille, blackcurrant fruits, "abundant but very fine-grained tannins" (NB) and underlying savoury nuances. Finishes bittersweet and minerally long. Beautiful richness and flow while showing great finesse and presence. A superb vintage that should continue to unfold with ageing. 14.5% alc "Round and voluptuous, powdery and velvety with rich chocolate, damson plums, cassis, strawberries and licks of wet stone. Moreish and totally delicious with a definite mark of Cabernet Sauvignon."
