Drink 2023–2038
The 2022 Tarraford Vineyard Chardonnay is potently intense on the nose, layered with cut pear, preserved lemon rind, citrus peel and sea salt, qunine even. In the mouth, the acidity is achingly intense and verges on puckering but ultimately is folded into the enveloping fruit. This is salty and intense—exciting drinking, like a defibrillator. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
