Drink 2015–2017
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon King Louis has a fresh blackcurrant and blackberry-scented nose with hints of new leather, spice box and aged beef plus a touch of yeast extract. Medium bodied and elegantly crafted, the palate is just a tad lean and finishes a little short, but this wine otherwise offers nice freshness and balance.
