Robert Parker Score: 94 points

Reviewer: Erin Larkin — June 2024 Week 320 Jun 2024

Drink 2024–2040

The 2014 Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon is polished and supple. The wine is magnificently pleasurable on the palate: the tannins and the fruit are as one, and it seems to wisp and curl through the long finish. Elegant and very fine, it's a quiet iteration of this warm season but displaying the finesse and grace that were brought on by the conditions during the growing season. The finish closes with graphite and pencil shavings, and that little suggestion of austerity plays well into the hands of the supple fruit. 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
