Drink 2024–2038
The 2013 Parterre Chardonnay is glossy and polished, with white peach and green apple skins, a hint of custard powder, almond meal and saltbush. Beautiful. The phenolics are sleek, and the acidity is penetrating and piercing, which I do love this producer for. Excellent. It spent 10 months in oak. Fabulous wine. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
