Drink 2000–2015
Voluptuous and seamless, the 1997 Shiraz Rayner Vineyard's beautifully integrated acidity, tannin, and alcohol result in a weighty, full-bodied, explosively rich, monster-sized Shiraz with copious quantities of blackberry and blueberry fruit intertwined with melted tar and pepper. Thick, juicy, and disarming, this lusty effort can be drunk now and over the next 10-15 years.
