The 2013 Claire Reserve Shiraz is the current, 225-case release. Aged in all-new French oak for a year, then transferred into four- and five-year-old barrels for another two years, it's full-bodied, supple and creamy in texture, with heaps of smoky, savory complexity set against a backdrop of ripe blackberries and plums. An intense, mouthwatering finish lined with silky tannins wraps up this impressive package.
