Drink 2024–2047
The 2017 Isolation Ridge Syrah is excellent—floral and shapely, bloody and shaped by silty tannins. It has notes of tobacco and crushed rocks, graphite and even curls of blood orange peel, plus peppercorns and caper brine. This is superb. It is my favorite of the vintages 2010 - 2017 so far.
