Drink 2024–2035
The 2022 Luminosa Chardonnay is waxy and floral, with pressed flowers, paraffin, Pink Lady apples, white peach and brine. The acidity courses through the fruit, and the tannins assist in shaping the finish. On release, this wine was just about the most exciting thing you can imagine, but I feel it is settling into self currently and will be perhaps better again in time. For now, the acid/phenolic balance is a little awkward through the finish. 13.1% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
