Drink 2018–2023
At 16.7% alcohol, I don't trust the 2013 Dimchurch Shiraz to age for more than a decade. But if you can handle the heat, this will be your jam. Pencil shavings, date, prune and licorice notes abound. There's awesome Christmas spice flavors and layers of fruitcake in this massive, full-bodied wine that definitely won't be for everyone, but it represents one unique style of Barossa Shiraz.
