Drink 2013–2020
Deep garnet colored, the 2005 The Pict has a really flamboyant nose of ripe blackberries and cherries intermingling with dark chocolate, licorice and espresso notes and loam. Big, rich and wonderfully expressive, it gives loads of flavor layers, fresh acid and a medium-firm level of grainy tannins before finishing long. Drink it now to 2020+.
