Drink 2024–2044
The 2019 Olmo's Reward is fine and lacy, like the other wines from the same vintage tasted here today—the Isolation Ridge Syrah, the Smith Cullam Syrah and the Isolation Ridge Riesling. The season has a nice clarity to it. The tannins here have a minty cast to them but texturally express the ferruginous quality of the soils here that I so love. This wine, via the lens of this vintage, requires patience, I believe.
