Robert Parker Score: 90 points

Reviewer: Robert M. Parker, Jr. — 16131 Oct 2005

Drink 2005–2020

From the cooler climate region of Margaret River, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, made from 27-year-old dry farmed vines, aged in primarily French oak, and bottled unfiltered, exhibits a dark ruby/purple color in addition to a French-like bouquet of tobacco, cedar, plums, and red as well as black currants. A finesse-styled, slightly austere effort with loads of complexity and stature, it should drink well for 10-15 years.
