Drink 2030–2045
The 2020 Ermitage Ex Voto is dense and oaky, unwinding in the glass with a typically brooding bouquet of smoke, lead pencil, bay leaf, dark berries and spices mingled with delicate notes of tobacco leaves. Full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it’s layered, with a structured core of fruit and a generous chassis of tannins that lead to a long, spicy and saline finish. With time, it could be more delicate and more saline.
