Drink 2021–2030

From a slightly cooler vintage, the 2012 Meshach Shiraz delivers more spice and red-berried fruit than the 2016. Vanilla and cedar notes accent raspberries on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate remains a bit tight and closed. This was looking better on the second day the bottle was open—more relaxed and welcoming, with a soft wash of dusty tannins on the long finish.
