Drink 2023–2036
The 2021 Big Jim Shiraz has a lovely front label (a rooster) and a provocative, heavily double-entendre'd back label. Thankfully, in the mouth, the wine is a straight shooter. It is juicy, round, intense, layered with red savory tannins and loaded with plenty of luscious, plush flavor. Some spice and exoticism keep it engaging. At $70AUD, it is a serious proposition. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under Stelvin.
