Drink 2026–2038
The 2023 Marble Angel Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is leafy, grainy and a little green, with layers of bramble, tobacco and green peppercorns alongside the dark fruit. This is elegant, as the Henschke Cabernets stylistically tend to be, and it emphasizes the variety's expressiveness here. The wine does not taste as if it comes from a warm climate, though the cool, wet conditions of the 2023 season likely influence this. This is very good, in any event. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
