Drink 2025–2033
The 2023 Primavera Vineyard Pinot Noir is perfumed and lithe, with sage and forest moss, leather, pomegranate molasses and a faint note of hung deli meat. The wine in the mouth is verdant, layered as it is with green peppercorn, chinotto and orange zest. The tannins are a little sappy and resinous through the finish. It's very pretty, but perhaps it will be a more interesting wine after some further years in bottle, once it has gained some tertiary complexity. All things point toward this happening with grace. 13.2% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
