Drink 2024–2037
The 2021 Farvie Syrah is medicinal and spicy, with aniseed and arnica, clove and star anise. This is an interesting wine, in that it is very different from the rest of the vertical. It shows exotic citrus spice, a hint of lichen and moss, dried tobacco, layers of freshly turned earth and fennel seeds. It has a distinct personality. The wine is fine on the palate, not heavy or dense. The cool season shows here. 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
