A very good as well as reasonably priced effort is the 2002 Shiraz Bin 128 from Coonawarra. This cool climate Shiraz reveals a hint of mint along with black currant and red fruits, earth, pepper, and spice characteristics, medium body, and a decent finish.

Medium-deep crimson. Redcurrant, chocolate, malt aromas with capsicum, gum leaf notes. Well preserved capsicum, redcurrant, raspberry, cola, minty flavours, fine grainy/leafy tannins and some malty notes. A very cool vintage. 13.8% alc Maturation in 18% new and 82% seasoned French oak hogsheads.
