Drink 2023–2030
The 2017 Long Gully Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is savory and secondary, with bone broth, roast sweet marrow, black pudding, truffle and beetroot, raspberry pip, kirsch and licorice. In the mouth, the wine wears it all with aplomb. The fruit is broad and rich yet the acidity works to tether the tannin to the fruit, and the whole thing moves as one. There's a nice lingering draw of texture through the finish. 14% alcohol, sealed under screwcap.
