Drink 2025–2038
The 2023 Agincourt Cabernet Malbec leads with leafy green herbs, pink peppercorns/sumac, blackberry, raspberry seed, rose petal and aniseed. The nose is pure, unfettered by oak and eminently fresh. In the mouth, the fruit (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, the balance Malbec) provides a glittering display of saturated flavor. The tannins are so soft, and the wine is so pretty. It's on the underside of ripe, yet I like the leafy tension that it provides so very much. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
