Drink 2025–2027
The Alois Lageder 2023 Pinot Grigio Porer (an organic and biodynamic wine) shows a timid bouquet that is not quite neutral nor does it speak with a loud voice. It instead offers easy-paced aromas of citrus, apple and dry grass or hay. This vintage is a little messier, perhaps, in terms of aromas without the same level of crystalline detail and sharpness that you get in cooler vintages. These results are open-knit and immediate. The release of 66,000 bottles has an ever-so slight pinkish hue to its appearance.
